We all were given cold lemon grass welcome drink and 15 minutes free head and shoulder massage (we booked the time best for us). Breakfast: It is not a buffet. The breakfast menu was good and had a variety of selections. Everybody was given fresh fruit and their choice of fresh fruit juice every morning. Dinner: We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights and we must have dinner there at least 4 times. Delicous food. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans (I am the only vegetarian in our family). Room: We booked a deluxe room for ourselves and a Superior room for our sons (early 20's). Our's was on the 1st floor and our son's were on ground floor. Spacious rooms with good size wardrobe. The bathroom was clean and had everything that was needed. Had our own balcony. Beautiful view. No on-looking rooms so we had full privacy. We were given iron on request. Our son's had a small private veranda in front of their room. Something I liked the most was that every room has its own privacy. No on looking room. Didn't have to draw curtains. So plenty of sunlight in the room. Pool: Good size pool. Never felt crowded. Enough sun loungers. Clean water. Didn't smell of chlorine. Staff: Polite, helpful and always cheerful. Well dressed. Spa: All the therapists are brilliant. They have magic in their hands. We were given 50% off on all treatments as we were hotel guests. All of us had massages, facials and hair treatment. Before treatment we were given turmeric drink(cold) and after treatment we were given ginger tea(warm) and coconut panna cotta. I had never had this delicious panna cotta before. You can always find cheaper places outside the hotel. But you get what you pay for. We tried and it wasn't good at all. The hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the high street and 15 walk to Ubud market. Didn't hear any traffic noise. All we heard was birds chirping. Very calm.

A cosy setting with well-maintained grounds of shrubs and plants, a koi pond, and rooms. Having a spa on-site was a plus. A cafe that served Balinese, Indonesian and continental food. The breakfast selections were very good. There were vegetarian options as well and portions for an Asian was substantial for the amount paid. We got to order what we wanted and breakfast was served with a choice of fruit juice and coffee/tea. There was also complimentary coffee/tea every afternoon between 3-5pm with some Balinese snacks. Rooms were well cleaned and items topped up daily. We were happy to be upgraded to suite rooms when we arrived. The suites come with a bathtub in a garden setting with some open space. Completely safe with ample lights outside the rooms. There was also an umbrella in each room which came handy, allowing those not travelling with an umbrella to bring off site when we were out for day tours. We got an opportunity to watch a Balinese performance with a 3-course dinner which we paid for on-site. Every evening of our stay, a member of staff came to our rooms to deliver a bedtime story on a Balinese folktale. This was so unique and a pleasant touch too that enhanced our knowledge of Balinese culture. The property has an ample car park area for cars to safely wait, pick up and drop off customers. The staff were exceptional, warm and helpful, always serving with a smile. Most of them could converse in simple English.

Our experience at the hotel resort was simply wonderful. Despite being close to the center of Ubud (just a 10-minute walk away), it felt secluded from the city's hustle and bustle, nestled amidst nature in a serene setting. Our room was impeccably clean and serviced daily, including fresh towels. They even provided pool towels, so there was no need to bring our own. Each evening, we found a bedtime story, a charming touch that we appreciated. And let's talk about the restaurant – truly top-notch quality. We found ourselves dining at the hotel almost every day because it was such a guarantee of excellence. The spa also offered a variety of treatments at exceptional value, and the staff was highly skilled; I always felt pampered. The entire hotel team was professional and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Serena

Everything really. The staff are outstanding, the ladies in the spa are so welcoming and fun to have a conversation with. The restaurant serves really good food and drinks and is nice place to hang out. The street that the accommodation is on has a few convenience stores, clothing shops, cafes and warungs for a meal so you don't have to venture far at all if you want an all inclusive experience. It's probably a good 20 minute walk into Ubud Centre and another 15-20 minutes to get to the Monkey Forest. All very walkable as long as you're not lugging prams, bags or accompanied by small children.

We stayed in Ubud for 4 nights and we loved the location, walking distance from Main Street and very close to some amazing vegan restaurants. The garden was very beautiful and well maintained. Nice and clean pool area and the service was incredible. Super friendly staff that helped us with everything we needed. Relaxing and peaceful hotel with traditional Balinese style and koi fish pond and small temple on the premises.
